Hey, we are going along to this seasons second BSUPA event to be held at Roadford Lake Country Park on the Devon/Cornwall border near Okehampton on Saturday, May 29th 2010. The event starts with registration at 09:00 am and races begin at 10:30 am.

Organised by Matt Argyle of BSUPA (he also runs SUPGlobal.com), they will be holding Distance and Sprint races. Sprints in a 4 man heat format will begin at 2.00pm.

There are going to be lots of water sports for everyone to try (if you have the energy!), including sailing, kayaking, SUPing etc so it should be a lot of fun. There is also a cafe and toilet facilities at the site and it's likely that the BBC will have a crew there to film the event.

The current weather forecast means we are probably looking at a downwinder. Matt will be setting the route for the race early Saturday and it will be at least 5km, and if the wind is co-operative it will have a long downwind section.

If you are going along and would like to pick up a new Curve SUP Board Bag, Curve SUP sling, Lockdown Roof Rack, Waterman Hydration Pack or maybe some Xtreme Cream, please order before Midnight Friday 28th May 2010 and we will be pleased to bring it along for you to collect at the event.
